This is a beautiful converted, period character two bed ground floor apartment, residing in a pair of Italianate style, Grade II listed Victorian Villas, named Montauban House. Located in the cosmopolitan and conservation area Whalley Range, known as ‘Manchester’s Leafy Suburb’ owing to the tree lined streets and beautiful buildings. Montauban House is set between a Communal Garden and free parking to the front of the property and beautifully converted former Coach House and Stables, garden and cobblestone courtyard to the rear of the building. Leading from the impressive fluted Corinthian pallisters flanking the main door entrance into Montahban House, you arrive at the ground floor apartment. On entering the hallway to the right, leads to a spacious open plan kitchen/living room. There is a table and chairs so you can enjoy sharing a meal. This room includes a 32 inch flat screen TV with sky and free wi-fi, a double sofa bed, a side and coffee table and a lofty corniced ceiling and original sash window. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven and a microwave with lots of kitchenware to cook your meals. The hallway leads firstly to the family bathroom – bathtub with an amazing overhead waterfall shower. Secondly to the master bedroom. This bedroom includes a double bed, two bedside tables with drawers, a fitted wardrobe and a sash window. Lastly the bedroom to the rear, includes a small double bed (4ft) suitable for one adult or two small children, a bedside cabinet, clothes rack and sash window. Towels, bed linen, soap and shampoo are provided. For stays over 7 nights, we offer a weekly housekeeping service and provide complimentary tea and coffee. Guests have full access to the entire apartment and there is a communal garden and laundry facilities on-site. There is parking subject to availability We are available by phone and are sometimes on site. We provide a Meet and Greet service until 7pm, self-check-in after 7pm. We are always on call for our guests should you wish. We appreciate privacy is one of the most important aspects of your break away from home so we want our guests to enjoy their time and come and go as they please.

We are located in Whalley Range which is still a large leafy residential district with a large conservation area and is home to Alexandra Park located along Alexandra Road South.

Montauban House is only 1.5 miles from Manchester City Centre and have the added convenience of closeby amenities and public transport to the City Centre.

Tesco Express is a short walk on Upper Chorlton Rd just past the bus stop and there is another Tesco Express on Withington Rd, where you can find Whalley Range Village with a selection of shops and takeaways including a Subway.

If you don’t fancy heading into Manchester City Centre, the trendy suburb of Chorlton Village is only 1.5 miles away and offers a wide choice of shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants.

Manchester United is 2 miles away and Old Trafford Cricket Grounds is 1.8 miles
